Arabia’s Wildlife Center Sharjah

The Arabian Wildlife Center has been a staple in our annual summer visits for several years now, and for good reason: it ticks all the boxes – nature, indoor, educational, and best of all, it's usually quiet. This indoor zoo showcases a wide range of animals that either currently call the Arabian Peninsula home or have done so in the past. From snakes and bugs to porcupines, wild cats, and hyenas, it's fascinating to see just how many species thrive in our desert environment.

The Center also features a cafeteria overlooking a herd of oryxes and mountain goats, offering both fast food and freshly made juices – the kind you can only find in places like Deira or Bur Dubai these days. Plus, you’re welcome to bring your own snacks to enjoy.

Conveniently located on Al Dhaid Road, the Arabian Wildlife Center is easily accessible via Emirates Road. For an entrance fee of AED 15 per person, you gain access to both the Wildlife Center and the Natural History Museum next door. If you don’t want to visit both on the same day, no worries – your ticket is valid for two months.
