The Camel Farm

This hidden gem in the Al Qudra Desert offers a unique, family-friendly adventure that must be pre-booked. The farm is home to a variety of animals native to the Arabian Peninsula, making it an unforgettable experience for children. They’ll love feeding and getting up close to bunnies, tortoises, goats, birds, and, of course, camels.

We booked a guided tour, where our friendly guide not only provided fresh food for the animals but also shared fascinating facts about each species. Our kids were thrilled and quickly began peppering him with questions, which he answered with kindness and patience.

The highlight of our visit was a short camel ride around the camp—an exciting adventure that had everyone smiling. After the tour, we unwound with a traditional karak tea inside a cozy Bedouin tent, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon full of new and memorable experiences.

For children under 3, the camp and camel ride are free. You can also book a one-hour camel ride through the stunning desert landscape—an adventure I can’t wait to try next time!
