Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park is a sprawling oasis, perfect for immersing oneself in nature during the cooler winter months. Most walkways between animal enclosures are equipped with fans, ensuring a pleasant experience even in the summer. The park's lush greenery, meandering rivers, and serene waterfalls offer an idyllic setting for a leisurely hike—a treat even before encountering the captivating animals and breathtaking visitor areas.
Dining options abound within the park, with a diverse selection of restaurants serving international cuisine alongside quick bites and snacks. Alternatively, visitors can bring their own food and enjoy a picnic amidst the picturesque landscape.
While the notion of caging animals may stir ethical concerns, it's worth noting that many of the animals at Dubai Safari Park were previously kept in subpar conditions and cannot be released into the wild. Here, visitors can observe these creatures in habitats that closely mimic their natural environment, making it one of the most humane and aesthetically pleasing zoological parks.
Option 1: AED 55 for adults, AED 25 for kids (excludes safari), children below 3 enter for free. This option grants access to approximately two-thirds of the park, including animal shows, complimentary Arabian desert safari, and various workshops held throughout the day. Utilizing this option with our children proved seamless; even though they weren't privy to the entire park, they remained comfortable in their strollers, and we managed to log quite a few steps that day.
Option 2: AED 90 for adults, AED 35 for children, includes a 30-minute Safari Bus Tour—an ideal choice, especially during the warmer months when outdoor exploration may be challenging. From the safety and comfort of the safari buses, visitors can marvel at the park's impressive predators.
Park hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
