Best time to visit winter months, early morning during summer
Nad Al Sheba
Nestled in Nad Al Sheba, there's an idyllic little tree-lined walkway that, from the right angle, looks like you're strolling through a forest—something we don’t quite have in this country (yet). The trail is only about 1.5 km long, so it’s not an actual hiking spot, but my small children absolutely love it. They have such a good time running around, finding sticks, and doing all the things kids do in the woods.
Depending on the time of year, watch out for spiky brambles on the ground if you step off the track—they can be painful for both feet and doggy paws. For an afternoon outside without a long drive or spending any money, this is a charming little destination.
